HOW TO USE LINKEDIN’S QR CODE TO CONNECT

If you meet someone at a networking event, you could give them a business card. However, it will more than likely end up in a drawer with a few hundred others and the chances of them finding you and emailing are remote.

Instead, try using the QR code that’s built into the LinkedIn app to connect in a second. Then you can send a message straight away and keep the conversation going.

The 72-second video below shows you how or you can follow these simple steps:

1) Open up the LinkedIn app.

2) Click on the search bar and the four little dots in the corner.

3) This will open up a QR code, which your new buddy can scan. It will open up your profile and you can connect immediately.

4) You can save your QR code (and profile image) to photos, send it someone or stick it on a presentation.
